HIPAA Compliance Statement

Effective Date: January 1, 2026

AMS Healthcare is committed to protecting sensitive information and complying with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) where applicable.

Scope

AMS Healthcare is typically not a Covered Entity under HIPAA as defined by 45 CFR § 160.103. However, we may work with healthcare providers who are Covered Entities, and we take our responsibilities in those relationships seriously.

PHI Handling

This website is not designed to collect, transmit, or store Protected Health Information (PHI). Users are instructed not to submit any patient-identifiable information through website forms, contact submissions, or any other communication channels on this site.

Business Associates

When AMS Healthcare acts as a Business Associate to a Covered Entity, we enter into a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) as required by HIPAA regulations. We work only with vendors and service providers who maintain appropriate safeguards for any PHI they may encounter.

Data Security

We implement administrative, physical, and technical safeguards to protect information, including access controls, encrypted communications, and ongoing security monitoring. These measures are designed to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse of sensitive data.

User Responsibility

Healthcare providers and other users of AMS Healthcare products and services are responsible for ensuring their own HIPAA compliance in their practices. AMS Healthcare provides devices and support — the clinical use and documentation practices remain the responsibility of the treating provider.

Disclaimer

For Professional Use Only. Do not transmit Protected Health Information (PHI) through unsecured channels or through this website. This statement is provided for informational purposes and does not constitute legal advice.
